When users download them, their security programs (rightfully) trigger warnings. The response from these sites? They tell users to disable their antivirus or firewall, claiming it’s just a “false positive.”

Important: If a website asks you to disable your antivirus in order to use a tool, that alone is a major red flag. Modern security solutions are specifically designed to detect these types of threats, and you should never ignore or disable them just because someone told you to on a forum or in a video.
